• Define the scope: The first step in designing a website is to understand your goals and objectives for the website. This involves understanding what kind of website you need, who your target audience is, what features they require, and what your budget is.
• Research and analysis: Conducting research on the industry, competitors, and target audience. This includes analyzing similar websites to identify best practices and areas for improvement, and gathering information on the target audience's preferences and behaviors.
• Information architecture: Based on the research, I develop a site map and determine the hierarchy of information for the website. This helps to organize the content and ensure that users can easily find what they are looking for.
• Wireframes and prototyping: Creating wireframes and prototypes to test and refine the site structure and user flow. This involves designing the layout, functionality, and navigation of the website without getting into the details of the visual design.
• Desktop design: Based on wireframes I will design desktop version of the website.
• Mobile version: We have to make sure that your design is mobile friendly ;)
Extras:
• Visual design: If you don't have any branding I will design the layout, color scheme, typography, imagery, and other visual elements that will create the look and feel of the website. In this case I will build a UI kit in Figma that will include typography, colors, buttons, inputs and other elements.
• Content creation: If you don't have any visuals I will either develop high-quality content that is engaging, informative, and optimized for search engines. This includes creating images and developing other multimedia content that will be featured on the website. Another option is to find content on stocks.
• Design QA: Once the website is developed it is better to conduct a design Design Quality Assurance to make sure that we eliminate all errors before the products launch.
