Summary

Every software has its own intricacies, dependencies, and requirements. Only a tailored and finetuned CI/CD pipeline will be helpful to software engineers. I understand this, as I approach CI/CD design from the mindset of a software engineer. I will ensure your software is deployed correctly without any restrictions, even if you decide to tack on extra requirements to your software.

Process

First we will identify together what the requirements of your software are. Then we'll take additional requirements of stakeholders and I can draft a pipeline with pen and paper. After receiving your go-ahead, I will implement a pipeline using GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket depending on your needs. This will be accomplished using either a fork of your repository, or a mock repository with your software's needs mirrored (after which you will receive a guide on how to implement the pipeline step by step.)

FAQs

Why should I pay you to do this for me?
Because I've seen what happens with faulty or non-existent pipelines. Unless you are experienced with pipelines or there aren't anyone's pay checks dependent on the quality of the software, this is not something you want to DIY.
Why do you have an hourly rate?
Because a DAG pipeline can consist of 2 nodes, or an entire tree of nodes that depend on each other and need to fail "correctly" if something goes wrong. Without understanding your needs it is not possible to set a price, so hourly works best. If you want me to provide you with a set figure, please reach out.
Can you maintain and upgrade the pipeline you will create for us?
Yes, I will gladly do that for you if we can strike a deal. Pipelines are very rarely something set in stone as they need to evolve together with your software.
