Many clients share with me that they don't have professional photographs for their website or prefer to avoid impersonal stock images from the internet, so I work to create custom illustrations or low-budget object-based editorial style photoshoots (often using a phone camera!) to create visuals reflective of you and your brand.
We begin by mapping out a visitor's journey through your site - home, about, services, contact, etc. - following which, we identify key points to place calls-to-action. If you don't already have a visual brand identity or a brand voice, I will help develop your color palette, typography (fonts), and visual assets such as images and illustrations. I will also assist with developing your copy to reflect your brand values, brand purpose, brand commitments, and brand voice. Basic SEO elements such as keywords in copy, page titles, meta descriptions, and alt text will be included as well. If you would like, I will also create complimentary mini brand guidelines documenting visual and language guidelines based on the above.
