Before we work together, please provide me with the following:
• further details about you (your company if applicable), your plans for the book, its intended readership and anyone else working on the editorial side of things
• any brief or style guide for this work
Process timeline
We come to an agreement about deadline for the work to be done and payment.
You place the order and send me your requirements.
If either of us has any outstanding queries we should communicate and address
them at this point.
I perform the work as agreed, updating you on progress.
I submit my work by the agreed deadline.
You review the work, I perform any revisions and payment is made.

Are you native-born English?
Yes, I was born in England, still live here and am a British national. That said, I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with all sorts of different people from various countries, backgrounds and cultures and I look forward to more of the same!
Why should I trust your proofreading ability?
I have top level proofreading training from the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP). I spent years writing, editing and proofreading government agency reports and assessments for multiple customers before turning freelance.
