What is proofreading? Proofreading is the last step before you go ahead and hit "publish" on your novel. This edit is necessary for all authors who want to ensure that their novel shines once it hits the shelves. I will dive in and tackle issues with grammar, spelling, and punctuation. As a bonus, I will point out any plot holes and inconsistencies that would distract from the reading experience.

Do you do sample edits?
Yes! Reach out and I'll do a sample edit for your first 1,000 words.
Do you use AI?
I don't use generative AI at all. In the first pass, I read every sentence with a detailed eye. In the second pass, I use ProWritingAid and Grammarly as tools to catch any last errors. I only use the basic spellcheck and grammar feature, not any generative AI feature.
