Process

My Process:
Project Discussion & Briefing:
We'll start with a conversation where you can share your vision, story details, and any reference materials. This helps me understand the style and mood you're aiming for, ensuring we’re on the same page.
Character & Scene Sketches:
I’ll create initial black-and-white sketches of scenes based on our discussion. You’ll have the chance to review these sketches and provide feedback. We’ll refine the designs until they perfectly capture your vision.
Final Illustrations:
Once the sketches are approved, I’ll move on to creating the final full-color illustrations. These will be detailed and ready to captivate young readers. After the illustrations are complete, you’ll have one round of revisions for any final tweaks.
Cover Illustration:
If needed, I’ll design an engaging cover that reflects the heart of your story. This can include the front, spine, and back cover. We’ll work together to ensure it’s eye-catching and perfectly aligned with the book’s theme.
Delivery:
After everything is approved, I’ll deliver the final high-resolution files in your preferred formats, along with the source files if requested. These will be ready for print or digital use.
Final Review:
We’ll do a final review to ensure everything meets your expectations. Once you’re satisfied, the project will be completed, and I’ll be available for any further assistance you might need.

  • Deliverable 1: Initial Concept Sketch

    A preliminary sketch of the illustration based on the client's brief. This will help visualize the layout and design before finalizing the details. Format: High-resolution PDF or JPEG. Quantity: 1 sketch per illustration. Revisions: Up to 2 rounds of feedback and adjustments included.

  • Deliverable 2: Full-Color Illustrations

    Completed illustrations for each page or scene, fully colored and detailed, designed to captivate and engage young readers. These will be based on the approved concept sketches. Format: High-resolution PNG or JPEG, ready for print. Quantity: 1 illustration per page/scene as. Revisions: 1 round of minor adjustments allowed after delivery.

  • Deliverable 3: Cover Illustration

    A vibrant, eye-catching cover illustration that reflects the theme and mood of the book. This includes the front cover design, and can also include the spine and back cover if requested. Format: High-resolution PNG or JPEG, with options for a wrap-around cover (front, spine, and back). Quantity: 1 cover illustration. Revisions: 2 rounds of feedback and adjustments included.
