About this service
Summary
I have been editing documentaries and doc style branded content for over 8 years, tailoring compelling stories for social media, TV, and streaming platforms.
Interview is one of the most accessible production forms and can be delivered relatively quickly.
Please provide a written treatment of the project and an overview of the footage (number of cameras, footage hours etc). With the information I can better assist you with working out a workflow and timeline.
I work on a milestone type invoice system. Please see below for details.
Process
Three Cuts: 3 versions of edits, presented via drive/link/frame.io, watermarked.
- 1st Cut: audio cut based on our preliminarily aligned vision. This is to insure all essential content is included and we will refine from here.
- 2nd Cut: revision based on your feedback. This cut is a fine cut, with camera cuts and smoothed audio. B-rolls and archival footage will also be added.
- Final Cut: Minor tweaks are applied based on your second round of feedback. This is final and intended for approval.
Detailed process:
On Boarding: You provide info -> I give you estimate -> You ok and provide footage

What's included
Video Files
Final locked version of the video delivered in the format of your choice. Usually comes in one or both of these 2 formats: clean ProRes 422 file; packaged (subtitles, graphics, logo etc.) H264 file at 20Mbps bitrate.
Project Files
A package of all materials used in the video, including video and audio clips, archival, music, sound effects etc, as well as the Premiere project file of the final editing timeline. So you will have everything to bring it back online in case of future revision.
