My Process
Consultation: First, I will host you and up to one other person on a virtual conference call. The date of our conference call marks when the 2 Week Project Timeframe begins.
Site Development: During this phase my goal as your Web Designer to check off the boxes of each of the aspects of your site which must be created. Including but not limited to: Pages; Wire Frames (basic templates for your pages;) Navigation Menus; eCommerce Storefront; Product Categories; Form Templates; Popups; etc. The Site Development page will reveal with greater clarity where there will be a need to provide copy,
Storefront & UX Design: This is where I will design your eCommerce platform to enhance your overall users' experience (UX.) I will make design decisions for your site based on satisfying the 7 UX Design Components: usefulness, desirability, accessibility, credibility, findability, usability and value. This is when you may expect to see, and experience what future customers will, when they visit your site.
User Transfer: Finally, during our last conference call I will add you and up to one other person to your Wordpress User List. Here, you will be prompted to identify who will receive which site privileges moving forward. I will offer my professional opinion in order to ensure the future security of your platform.
Here's Your Part (if you want it;)
There is no pressure or commitment to show up in the following ways during the Time Frame of our agreement. You may be as hands off as you desire, and the deliverables above will still be honored.
Yet, if you wish to have more control (and less surprise) about what to expect at the end of 2 Weeks; you are invited to collaborate in the following ways:
Daily Input: Reserve a window of time each day to reflect on and communicate any updates or questions regarding the progress of your site.
Upload Images and Copy: Use our shared GoogleDrive folder to upload Images and Text you want included on your site-- I recommend prioritizing EverGreen or timeless content-- that may be featured on your site long term. All images and written content published on your site must be owned by you.
*** Provide Listing Information for 3 of Your Actual Products: This way, when I create your first 3 Starter Listing, you can take full advantage by listing the products you are willing to launch immediately.
Above and Beyond:
I will create the website, the digital asset, and the platform needed to expand your business digitally...
-- this includes considering the developers, systems, and technology you will need to continue your work in the future.
The following represents what you will need to do beyond the scope of this contract:
Subscribe to Plugins: Plugins are a needed aspect of almost every website-- especially your eCommerce store. For the duration of the two weeks that I will build and develop your site, most plugins will offer a free trial period. However; you may eventually have to pay to unlock extended feature. I will be forthcoming about which Plugins will benefit your store most and how much they may cost, and propose "free" alternatives whenever possible.
Purchase a Website Domain: In order to have a custom website URL/link you will need to purchase a Domain Name. Otherwise, your website will only be accessible through the generic www.wordpress.com/your-site-name format.
Manage Inventory: I will list your first 3 products to jump start and demonstrate the capabilities of your new eCommerce store. Moving forward, you will be responsible for managing, or hiring someone to manage, product listings. The products you list on your site while you contract me, and after the fulfillment of our contract are your responsibility.
Marketing: I will take steps to streamline marketing your website in the future. Yet, please note that a marketing strategy, and the ensured success of future marketing strategies, are both outside of what of the scope of this package.

A uniquely designed "Under Construction" page to use as an intriguing facade for your website while I (and future developers) work behind the scenes to construct your site further.
This page will feature an email collection form to help you proactively gather valuable customer information, like email addresses, even before your site launches.
You will retain the use of this page and its features even beyond the scope of our partnership.
eCommerce Storefront
I will build a Virtual Storefront to help you sell literally anything you want online-- all while designing a seamless sales funnel for your future customers to use.
Inventory Organization
Based on our consultation, I will create useful Product Categories-- which will be used to organize your inventory as its grows.
Technical SEO Report
I will build your site so that Search Engines (like Google;) will have an easier time reading your site, and ranking you in search results. This will increase the likelihood of everyday web users, organically discovering your brand, and becoming potential customers.
+1 Landing Page
I will create a landing page to feature a product, service, collection, or offer that you will use to promote and marketing your brand to your community.
+3 Starter Product/Service Listings
I will create your first 3 Product/Service listings to demonstrate how you may make the most of the web tools I am designating to you. These 3 Starter Listings may be used as templated for any and all of your future products.
