Research standards
I use lawful public, archival, historical, open-source, and client-provided sources. I separate verified findings from probable, possible, and unresolved ones, and document useful source trails and meaningful gaps.
I do not hack, pretext, impersonate, access private accounts, provide legal advice, perform regulated background checks, or offer private-investigator services. All services are delivered digitally. Research results depend on the records and sources that exist. A negative or unresolved result can still be a useful documented result.
