Summary
Posters cover a great variety of styles and purposes, it can be more like an infographic, or an illustrative poster to showcase any sort of information, it can be formal or playful, posters can be printed or used online, like websites, or social media. Posters are for everyone and every business.
Process
A brief of the idea and purpose of the poster has to be specified. If the logo needs to be on the poster, the logo must be sent in good quality along with the brand color palette if the colors have to be used in the posters.
Some sketches with the layout of the poster will be sent to the client to make sure it's what they want. Once the idea is clear the digital version will be designed and sent, after some arrangements the final design of the poster will be made and sent and ready to print.
What's included
Time
The time will depend on the poster, depending if the elements of the poster need to be illustrated it could take more time, if the design is complex it could take up to a day approximately. So please let me know if there is a deadline so I can send your poster on time.
Format and Resolution
This will depend if the poster will be printed or digital. If printed the file will be sent in CMYK, from 150 to 300 dpi, with sizes of 18”x24”, 24”x36” or 27”x40” (the client can also request a specific measurement). The format could be JPEG, PDF, EPS, depending on the client's requirements.
