What would you get by choosing me as your beta reader?

I will be providing you with a test audience for your work. I provide feedback on any issues in the work that readers or agents might notice. I would not be editing the work but I would be giving you feedback about potential problems with storylines or details in the plot and offering suggestions. I can beta-read your work at any point in the process, whether you are at the very start of your writing journey or nearing the end, I would be happy to offer ideas and critiques.

I have a bachelor's degree in English, creative writing, and journalism, editing, and publishing from Washington College

I have years of experience providing this exact type of feedback to other writers in workshop classes

I am a writer myself and can offer that creative perspective as I provide feedback and suggestions

As I am both a writer and a voracious reader, I can utilize both perspectives to give you a wide range of critiques

I am familiar with many different genres of writing and have no qualms about working in any of them. My experience includes poetry, mystery, fiction, creative nonfiction, sci-fi, and I am open to new genres I have not yet had the opportunity to explore

I am incredibly passionate about writing and would love to help other writers make their work as good as possible!

Pricing

I charge $20 per 10K words for which you would receive my comments and feedback within the book and separate document summarizing my feedback overall.
