• Brief & idealisation

  My process starts with understanding your goals for the animation. A short brief and your brand guidelines give me the framework I need. From there, I’ll sketch quick scamps and jot down story ideas until the right narrative comes together. Once I’ve got a concept I’m happy with, I’ll set up a quick call to make sure it’s heading in the right direction before bringing it to life.

• Research & Reference

  Research and referencing is a key part of my process. It helps me stay on top of both global and local design trends so I can apply the right ideas to your brand. I’ll usually share references as links to videos or images that show the initial concept and style direction, giving you a clear sense of how the animation could look and feel.

• Style frames

  Style frames are an important step in my motion design process. They act as a clear visual snapshot of how the final animation could look. By creating these early on, I can share design options with you before any animation begins, making sure the direction feels right before moving forward.

• Storyboards

  Storyboarding is a key step in bringing an animation to life. It gives a clear sense of how the narrative will flow and how the visuals will support the script. Each board includes the script alongside a description of the visuals, all presented in full colour. The number of boards depends on the length of the animation but typically ranges from 20 to 40 to make sure every moment is mapped out in detail.

• Voice & Music

  I’ll help you choose the right voiceover and oversee the recording session. Music and sound effects are then layered in, and the final mix is polished so everything feels seamless and professional.

• Final Delivery

  At the final stage, I’ll deliver the completed animation for your campaign. To make sure you’re fully happy with the outcome, I involve you in the approval process at every step. Before moving forward, I’ll ask for sign-off via email so we can be confident the project is on track and the final result meets your expectations.
