About this service

Summary

Congratulations on completing your manuscript - that's a huge accomplishment!
The next step is developmental editing: big-picture analysis and evaluation of your manuscript.
If you work with me as a developmental editor, I will read through your manuscript and leave questions, feedback, and suggestions for each scene. You will also receive an editorial letter addressing the plot, structure, worldbuilding, character development, voice, individual scene discussions, as well as a review and a critique.
Don't be shy - reach out to discuss your project with me!

I offer this service for manuscripts above or between the word counts specified under each package, for an additional price. The calculation considers my price per word and the extra hours required to meet the fixed deadline set by each package. As a law student, I often have to manage multiple deadlines, which is why I factor in the potential impact on my schedule when determining the additional cost.
