Line editing includes:

In-depth examination of voice at a sentence level to ensure clarity and effectiveness

Line-by-line evaluation of writing style and voice as it pertains to syntax

Collaboration with the author to evaluate intent and themes both in-sentence and across the manuscript

As it is set hourly, the average pages edited in an hour for line editing are 4-6 pages per hour. This is dependent on a number of factors, so that is not a set ratio, please keep that in mind.
