About this service

Summary

I give feedback on broader content of your work, before it goes into final edits. This may be early in the writing process or closer to completion. I will write up my assessment and edit suggestions, and you can choose which parts to incorporate into your piece. I will not rewrite any part of the piece, only give examples.
Price is approximately .5 cents ($.005) per word. This is highly negotiable, especially if you want a less detailed assessment. Please contact me so we can discuss options and I can provide a quote.

What's included

  • Fiction Editing

    I provide suggestions for the plot and structure of a story as well as style and tone. I will identify strengths and weaknesses in your work and recommend solutions without belittling the hard work you have already put in.

  • Academic Editing- theses, articles, grants, etc.

    I will make high level suggestions to strengthen the argument of your work. This involves reorganizing sections, ensuring evidence is strong throughout the writing, and incorporating any previous peer review or feedback into the new draft. For communication to the public I will ensure that everything can be understood by a layman.
