This is where we establish the scope of the project, including the number of sketches, desired level of detail, and overall aesthetic.
Research & Inspiration Gathering: Based on your concept brief, I'll conduct thorough research to gather inspiration and explore relevant trends. This might include looking at current fashion trends, historical references, fabric swatches, and other visual resources. This step helps to inform the design direction and ensure the final sketches are both creative and relevant.
Preliminary Sketches & Mood Board (Optional): I'll create a few quick, preliminary sketches to explore different silhouettes, proportions, and design elements. These sketches serve as a starting point and allow us to discuss initial ideas and make any necessary adjustments early on. I can also create a mood board at this stage to visually represent the overall aesthetic and style direction.
Refined Sketches & Concept Development: Building upon the preliminary sketches (if applicable) and your feedback, I'll develop more refined sketches. These sketches will focus on specific garment details, including neckline, sleeves, closures, and embellishments. I'll explore different variations and options, allowing you to choose the elements you prefer.
Fabric & Material Exploration: We'll discuss fabric and material options for your designs. Based on your concept and the style of the sketches, I'll suggest appropriate fabrics and textures. I can also provide virtual fabric swatches or links to resources if needed.
Final Sketch Development: Once we've finalized the design direction, including silhouette, details, and fabric choices, I'll create the final sketches. These sketches will be highly detailed and accurately represent your vision.
