Overview
An approval flow, a customer form, an import screen or a reporting view can make an existing application much more useful. I build the interface and the underlying logic together, so the feature fits the way your application already works.
I work with React, Next.js and PHP applications, including Laravel. The starting package covers one clearly defined workflow in an existing codebase, using its current authentication and deployment setup. We agree on the behaviour, affected screens and completion checks before work starts.
You receive the working feature, the code and practical handover notes. I check the main user journey, permissions where relevant, and the loading, empty and error states people encounter while using it.

What you receive

One agreed feature: a written description of what the user can do and how we will confirm it works.
Interface and backend implementation: the changes needed for that workflow, following the existing application's conventions.
Required database changes: validation, any necessary migration and a deployment plan suited to the existing application.
Verification and deployment: checks of the main workflow and relevant failure cases, followed by deployment to the agreed existing environment.
Code and handover: the changes in your repository, a brief explanation of how to use the feature, and any operational notes.
One consolidated review round: refinements within the agreed feature, plus correction of issues that prevent it from meeting the brief.
Seven days of scoped bug support: correction of reproducible bugs introduced by the delivered changes and reported within seven calendar days of handover.
The US$1,500 starting package covers a focused feature delivered over two weeks. I review the codebase and any integration or migration requirements before confirming the scope and fixed quote.

Process

Define the feature. Review the existing app, the intended user journey and the parts that need to change. Agree the scope and completion checks.
Build the first working version. Implement the workflow and share a preview. For interface work, confirm the main screen direction before extending it.
Review and verify. Apply one consolidated round of feedback within the brief and check the agreed behaviour, including relevant failure cases.
Deliver and hand over. Deploy to the agreed environment, provide the code and notes, and begin the seven-day bug-support period.

Questions before starting

What should a user be able to do after this feature is added? A short example is enough.
What is the existing stack, and can you provide repository access and a staging environment?
Does the feature use an external service, payment system or new data source? If so, which one?
Do you have existing interface patterns, screenshots or a design to follow?
Who will review the work, and is there a specific launch date?
