Process

Here is a sneak peek into what my design process involves: 1. Understanding the Design Brief:  My process starts with a thorough review of the design brief, followed by asking focused questions to ensure a clear understanding of the project requirements and objectives. Typically, this begins with a video call with the client, allowing us to connect on a personal level. This helps them feel comfortable sharing their vision while I gain insights into their personality and preferences. During the conversation, I take detailed notes, which serve as valuable references to guide the visual direction of their brand.  If available, I review any existing brand materials or assets to ensure continuity or identify areas for improvement. Understanding the brand’s story and values helps me craft a logo that resonates emotionally and functionally.
2. Research and Inspiration: I begin by researching existing designs and related brands to gather inspiration and identify opportunities to innovate beyond current industry standards. This includes a competitive brand analysis to understand the landscape and uncover ways to help the client’s brand stand out. Additionally, I conduct industry research to gain a deeper understanding of the client’s field and audience. This research forms the foundation for creating mood boards. I typically present two to three mood boards to the client, allowing them to mix and match ideas. Their feedback and preferences provide valuable clarity on the design direction, ensuring alignment with their vision.
3. Initial Sketches: I translate my research and insights into initial design sketches, focusing on key concepts and ideas. These sketches lay the groundwork for further development and are shared with the client for feedback and validation. I present three logo concepts, and once the client selects their preferred option, I refine and develop that concept further to align it perfectly with their vision.
4. High-Fidelity Design Creation: Building on the feedback received during the concept phase, I move on to creating high-fidelity designs. This step involves refining the visuals to ensure they meet the client’s vision, adhere to brand guidelines, and maintain a polished, professional standard. At this stage, I pay close attention to details like color consistency, typography, layout, and overall aesthetic appeal to create designs that are both visually striking and functional.
5. Final Review and Delivery: Once all feedback has been addressed and final adjustments are made, I perform a meticulous review to ensure the design meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy. This includes checking for alignment with the project brief, verifying technical details, and ensuring the deliverables are optimized for their intended use. I then package the finalized project, providing all necessary files in the required formats, along with any additional guidelines or documentation, to ensure a seamless handoff to the client.

    Custom-designed templates for your social media posts, stories, and ads. These templates will be tailored to your brand, ensuring a cohesive and professional presence. You’ll receive them in the file format that suits you best - whether that’s Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop, or another tool you prefer - making it easy for you to edit and use them whenever needed.
