About this service

Summary

While I'm a programmer, majority of my career I was a designer as well. I guess nowadays it's called “design engineer”.
What you get is a service from a person that pays attention to both efficient & secure code, as well as great user experience.

Process

After you share the design, I'll review it and start the process of interviewing. This helps me better understand the project's audience, business value proposition, and short-term goals to figure out a suitable solution.
I'll present you with paths to solutions. If there're any future fees involved from third-parties (like hosting providers), we'll go over that as well. I'll work with you to find the best option suitable.
I'll get to working on the code. At this point of time, there also might be a rough estimate on when to expect the progress update. It's worth noting that I don't do time estimates based on the features, but rather fix the time and the budget, and flex features instead as needed. That way we know exactly when to expect the release. None of this will be a surprise for you and you can expect a thorough communication on every step.
As I'll be working, you'll be able to observe the progress and get routine updates, regardless of how long our project might take—a few months, or even just a week. There won't be a month of silence and then you see the website for the first time. Instead, you'll be constantly aware of the updates.
After the work is done, I'll deploy it to your domain of choice.
It depends on the complexity, but I can promise at least 7 days of free bug fixes within the design scope we kicked off with. Things are never perfect, as much as I strive to it.

What's included

  • Turn your website design into a deployed working application

I'll write code to turn your static design (or interactive prototype) into a real accessible app. The deliverable will depend on the design complexity. It might be as complex as a fullstack app built with a JS framework (I prefer SvelteKit) & Supabase or Laravel as backend, or as simple as a landing page built using Framer or Readymag. So deliverables may include: — Github repo with the code; — Set up instance of Supabase; — Set up DigitalOcean droplet (or any VPS of your choice); — Framer project; — Shopify project.

With Igor’s distinct eye for details, we are always able to ship quick yet visually appealing changes to our website. We worked together on both marketing and technical UI, and he was always able to cover unexpected cases from both UX and engineering sides, which makes him a reliable partner for web products. Highly recommended! 🫶🫶🫶

Igor is a truly gifted individual capable of cross discipline work between product / design / and business. Working with him has been a tremendous success as he takes the initiative to understand a business concern, design a solution, and then implement the solution. He does this all as a solo IC inside an organization. If you've ever run a business you know this is a rare talent. He was even able to self onboard into a large codebase with no prior experience of the framework, crazy!
