Syntax (sentence structure)
Punctuation.
I use tracked changes in Word (and similar tools on other platforms) to mark each and every change for you to accept or reject as you see fit. Of course, if you'd prefer to see some changes/major changes only, we can discuss that as well.
I also use comments to explain my changes, as needed.
Please note: Proofreading covers the above elements only. If you'd like me to review your content for style, tone, repetition, redundancy, etc.—i.e. if you require rewriting services, please refer to my other service (Copy and content editing (line editing)).

Marked-up content
You will receive a marked-up, proofread version of your content (and a separate 'clean' copy if you wish). I can work in:

- GoogleDocs
- Scrivener
- Overleaf
- Adobe PDF (for openness, PDF is more time consuming to mark up; providing a version of your content using any of the formats above will mean I can work more efficiently, saving you time and money).
