Summary

I love composing music in many styles, from ambient electronic to classical and heavy metal. I love interpreting visual art, such as movies and video games, and translating them into an audio/musical experience.

My music is bespoke, made using real instruments. I use no sample packs, or pre-written melodies, chord progressions or drum loops. I guarantee the music will be 100% original, composed specifically for your project.

Process

To begin with, I will ask you for a few sentences describing the emotions and atmosphere that you feel would best fit your project, and any pieces of music, art or film that inspire you. From here I will create a short idea within a few days that could be a main theme or motif and I will ask for your direction/opinion. From here I will develop the idea into its first composition draft, with regular updates along the way, and submit it to you for approval.

Do you use AI?
I use no AI tools whatsoever. I truly love every step in the process of creating music, from the first musical idea, through its development and to the final mixing process.
Do you use real instruments?
Yes, I use a mixture of acoustic and electronic instruments including acoustic, classical and electric guitar; acoustic/electric piano; synthesizers; percussion; and acoustic instruments from Fiji, India and Thailand.
Do you use samples?
All the music I write is completely original, using no sample packs or pre-written melodies, chord progressions or loops. I do use sample instruments occasionally - usually ones that are hard to access - like huge Japanese Taiko drums or a church pipe organ!
