Summary
I'll help you build and/or improve your design system library in Figma. I'm comfortable owning the process from start to finish, talking to stakeholders, designers, devs to ideate, plan, and implement components to scale! I'm fluent in Figma (auto layout, variants, component props, slot components, you name it) and can make sure your components are built in the best way possible to suit your needs. Super Clean & Smart Components!
Designers and devs are the users of the design system. Just like a software product, a design system needs to be tailored to its users! Building smart and lean components will save you many hours and make designers and dev's lives easier!
Component Props
I'm always on top of Figma's latest updates and component props are one of the best recent launched features. They allow you to avoid many unnecessary variants.
Auto Layout
Auto layout allows your components to be smart and responsive! It enables the creation of dynamic components reducing the amount of layer hierarchy.
Smart Variants
Variants will be used only when absolutely needed, no more bloated components by overusing variants. In many cases component props and auto-layout, when used well, can reduce the amount of variants by more than 50%!
Slot components (When needed)
Slot components are advanced components that allow more flexibility to certain components that share the same "shell" but that may have different inner content. They need a reserved area(or "slot") for interchangeable content.
