Process
My Process
- After we establish contact and I am hired to work on your video, I will send you my list of requirement to start working on the project as quickly as possible. These are my requirements:
- I will ask for the script for the video. If you require help with the writing of the script, I can help you with that.
- I will request the audio narration file that I will require for the editing. If there is no narration but the client wants a narration, I can create a narration that the client will approve.
- I will request any visual elements that the client will want to include in the video such as branding elements and visuals, logo, fonts, colors, websites etc.
- If the video will not have narration but rely heavily on text on video from the script, client will provide samples of audio tracks and music styles that they would like to underlay in the video. Client will give final approval for the music track.
- Client will specify if any visual motion graphics and text are required to be included in the video. This includes, lower thirds, subtitles and logo/s.
- Client will specify delivery timeline so I can plan the production cycle.
- Client will specify delivery method and format for video. Example of formats are mp4, avi, ProRes, mov etc.
- The more detailed the instructions I receive in the beginning the smoother and more productive the process will go.
