Summary
A copy edit checks for mistakes in spelling, grammar, punctuation, style consistency, fact-checking, and other technical issues.
The style guide I use is The Chicago Manual of Style. The dictionaries I use are the Oxford English Dictionary and the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. You may request I use a specific dictionary and/or style guide. Based on one reading, you will receive a style sheet and a reader report.
Please note: Copy edits come AFTER developmental and line edits and BEFORE a proofread.
