I'm a designer who codes — or a developer who designs, depending on the day. I came up through design (did my master's in interaction design) and got a bit tired of handing off nice Figma files and watching them turn into something slightly off in someone else's hands. So I learned to build the thing myself.

Now I take web projects the whole way: wireframes and interface design in Figma, the front-end in React, TypeScript and Tailwind, the back-end and database in Node, NestJS, Prisma and Postgres, then testing and deploying so you actually end up with something live, not a folder of files.

The point of hiring one person for all of it is that nothing gets lost between "the designer" and "the developer" — they're the same guy, so the thing that ships is the thing that was designed.

I recently did exactly that with Tamborá (tambora.fr), a concert listing app I designed and built end to end.
