Summary

Designing for the web is a tall order. I take your vision, ideas, and business goals to make stellar user experiences that convert. Together, we'll ideate, iterate, and polish your website making you a part of the design process.

Process

Discovery Call - Together, we'll have an introductory call to define the needs, brand, and goals of your business and establish the purpose of creating your website. From there, I'll be able to get an idea of how I can assist you.

Mood boards and Ideation - I'll create mood boards of websites and walk through why I have included them in the list. After finalizing the mood board, I dive into a design theme for us to go off of.

Wireframes and Iteration - The information from the previous two steps will help me create gray-scale layouts of how the website could look. I present you these designs and explain my thought process for layouts and possible animations. From there, I require your feedback, insights, and questions! Design is a collaborative process and including you in the design process is a must for me.

High-Fidelity Version - Once the wireframes look great, I add images and colors.

Website Development - The designs from Figma are only hypothetical and this phase of the project is where we see your website come to life. I develop the designs and animations from the Figma file and present those to you.

Launch! - Once the website is finished being coded, we launch and your website will be live on the web!

FAQs

Do I need copy and assets before the project?
Yes. I'd prefer if those were prepared ahead of time so we can focus on laying out the content and images rather than designing hypothetical designs.
Why don't I prototype in Figma?
For me, it's my personal preference. I think that prototyping on Figma tends to look completely different versus when I'm developing the website. I prefer showcasing the animations and transitions within a dev server so we have a better idea of how the site would look if it were live.
How long do websites typically take?
That depends on the scope of the website! Throughout our discovery call, I'll establish that from the start so we can have expectations for when I can hand over the deliverables to you.
How often do you meet or update?
Communication is a must. Any small updates or ideas I have, I send right away via email. As I stated above, design is a collaborative process and I can't design your business's website without you!
