About this service

Summary

Projects are broken up into three phases. Discovery, Design, and Production.
DISCOVERY
Research - We begin reviewing internal strategy and business plans, conducting interviews and experiencing the brand from the perspective of the consumer.
Brand Brief - A document outlining your brand's purpose and goals. It also gives an overview of your market, audience and competitors. This will help bring clarity to the team and outcome of the project.
Stylescapes - A more focused and curated moodboard incorporating personas, to visualize the look and feel of the brand, service, or product we are building.
DESIGN
Logo - The logo is created iteratively in two rounds. After the first round you will be presented with three directions. The chosen direction is expanded upon and refined.
Color - The color palette is created and refined, and the color system’s hierarchy and usage is defined.
Typography - The typeface(s) are chosen, based on legibility, contrast, personality, and flexibility. The hierarchy is decided, and text styles are created.
Touchpoints - Color, typography, and any other imagery are applied to various key pieces such as website pages and stationery. Each is refined as needed.
PRODUCTION
Prepress - Assets are checked for grammatical and design errors. Print-ready files are created, and sent to the printshop/facility. Once proofs received, they are checked for material, and color reproduction errors. Revisions are made if needed.
Printing & Building - Assets are prepared, handed of to the vendor, checked for errors, and color reproduction before final product is handed to the client
Guidelines - Documentation is compiled detailing proper usage of your Strategy, Touchpoints, and Assets, when communicating various aspects of your Brand, Product, or Service, both internally and externally.
Delivery - Finished product is either hand delivered, or mailed to the client. A handoff meeting will be held to verify all pieces are in the clients possession. This would be the perfect time to ask any followup questions about the usage of the material in your possession.
