Files
You will get the .riv runtime file for the final use in your project, and the .rev backup file.
Gif, mp4, and mov files are not always possible to get (animation layers are the reason) so if you need them also - it's better to know this at the beginning
Share link
I can also send you the share link for the final animation, which you can then embed on your site, but it is always better to host the file on your own as I can't guarantee that the link will be live forever
Interactivity
Some interactions are also possible with Rive, so feel free to share your ideas!

Mostly - no. As I'm a motion designer and not an illustrator - I'm not the best person to create graphics from scratch.
As with any other technology - yes. Not so many, but they exist. Please contact me with your project details so I can provide further advice.
Every animation is different - it depends on the number of points and keyframes in the animation, the complexity of the illustration itself, vector or raster assets used, and so on. But you can be sure that it will be as low as technically possible with your assets and task
Basically - vector format is preferred. I can work with any vector graphic format. SVG, EPS, AI, PDF, Figma project - it doesn't matter. Rive can also contain raster assets (PNG, PSD, JPEG) but the pure-vector approach is advised since with raster assets we're slightly limited with animation options
