Title: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in Rural Communities through Skills Development and Access to Market.

Abstract:

This grant proposal aims to empower women entrepreneurs in rural communities by providing them with access to skills development and a market for their products.

The project will support a local women's cooperative and provide training on various aspects of entrepreneurship including project development, financial administration and marketing strategies. It will also support the establishment of a market where women entrepreneurs can sell their products.

Background and Rationale:

Women's entrepreneurship has been recognized as having a key role in economic growth and poverty contraction in developing countries. However, women entrepreneurs in rural communities usually face significant challenges in the beginning and growing their businesses.

These challenges include fixed access to the market, finance and skills development opportunities.

This project seeks to address these challenges by empowering women entrepreneurs in rural communities through skills outcomes and access to the market. The project will work with a local women’s cooperative and provide training on various factors of entrepreneurship including product development, financial management and marketing strategies. It also supports the establishment of a market where women entrepreneurs can sell their products.
