Once the client approves a concept, I will proceed to create the final packaging artwork. This includes designing all the necessary elements such as logos, product descriptions, images, illustrations, and any other graphics that need to be incorporated into the packaging.

In addition to the artwork, I may also provide a structural design for the package. This includes creating dielines or templates that outline the dimensions, shape, and layout of the package. These dielines serve as a guide for printing and manufacturing the physical package.

Depending on the project requirements, I may create physical or digital mockups of the package design. Physical mockups allow the client to see and feel the package design in a tangible form, while digital mockups can be shared electronically for feedback and evaluation.

Once the package design is finalized, I will provide print-ready files to the client. These files are prepared following industry standards and specifications, ensuring they are suitable for commercial printing. They may include high-resolution PDFs or specific file formats required by the printing vendor.

If the package design involves custom die-cut shapes or complex folds, the designer may provide die-cut templates. These templates show the exact cutting and folding lines required for the packaging production process.

For package design projects tied to a brand, I may create branding and graphic guidelines specifically for packaging. These guidelines ensure consistency across different packaging variants and help maintain the overall brand identity.
