Process

Phase 1: Consultation 😎
Initial consultation to understand the client's vision and requirements.
Discussion of the type of film (e.g., colour, black and white) to be used.
Selection of shooting locations in Singapore and concepts.
Phase 2: Photoshoot 📸
On-location (in Singapore) using film cameras.
Careful attention to lighting, composition, and settings to capture authentic and timeless images.
Candid and posed shots as per the client's preferences.
Note: Film photography requires a slower and more deliberate approach compared to digital.
Phase 3: Film Processing 🎞️
The film rolls are carefully developed using high-quality processes.
Handling and processing times may vary based on the type of film used.
Phase 4: Scanning and Editing 🖥️
Scanning of developed film negatives at high resolution.
Basic colour correction and exposure adjustments (if needed).
A selection of the best film images will be edited to enhance their visual appeal while preserving the authentic film aesthetic.
Phase 5: Delivery 💌
Delivery of the edited high-resolution film images to the client.
Images may be delivered digitally or in physical form, depending on the client's preference.
Physical prints can be provided if requested, with additional charges for printing and shipping.

FAQs

  • What will not be included?

    Immediate Access to Images: Clients should not expect immediate access to their images directly after the photoshoot. There will be a processing and editing period before the final images are delivered. Guaranteed Perfection: While every effort will be made to capture high-quality images, film photography is inherently organic, and minor imperfections, such as light leaks or unexpected variations in colours, may occur. These imperfections are part of the film photography aesthetic and should be embraced as part of the unique charm. Film and Equipment Ownership: Clients will not own the film rolls or equipment used during the photoshoot. Ownership remains with the photographer. Transportation Costs: Transportation expenses, including but not limited to travel to and from the photoshoot location(s), parking fees, and any related costs, will be incurred by the client and are not included in the photography service package. The client is responsible for reimbursing these expenses separately.
