About this service

Summary

Good branding is more than a custom, well researched logo. It's an investment in a visual identity system made up of logos (yes, plural!) colour schemes, typography and supporting visual elements that all work together to communicate your business and convert potential clients.

Process

Step One: Discovery - To craft a good visual identity, we need to have a talk, or a series of messages, to discover what your business is all about, who your ideal customers are, the tone of voice the branding should have and anything else that is relevant to the work.
Step Two: Mood Board - After our initial discussion, I'll take all of that information and come up with a mood board. A document of images and inspiration that will guide the creation process that you will sign off on before custom design work begins.
Step Three: Design and Refine - Using our conversations and the mood board as reference, I'll create three logo concepts for you to choose from. One concept will be chosen and there will be the opportunity to request three revisions to the concept to craft your perfect identity.
Step Four: Delivery - A suite of logos for all use cases in industry standard formats, as well as any additional design elements (patterns, spot illustrations, etc.) will be delivered digitally including a brand guidelines document to ensure whoever uses the logo or any part of the visual identity is doing so properly.
Step Five: Wrap up - Any questions that come up after reviewing the visual assets and brand guidelines can be answered.

What's included

  • Logo Package

Most clients need more than one logo for different uses in a visual identity. • Primary logo - The main logo used to represent your brand. • Secondary logo - A rearranged primary logo to be used when the primary logo doesn't fit a space. • Submark - A simplified version of the logo to be used for things like social media icons • Favicon - The really small logo you see in your web browser tabs that identify a website.

  • Brand Guidelines

This is the rulebook for your visual identity. It tells you which logo you should use in every use case and how not to display your logo. Colour schemes are detailed as well as official fonts. Style boards give guidance on how a brand's visual language is to be displayed. Additional rules such as the types of visual elements to be used are also detailed here.
