No matter your genre or topic, I am here to help you kill your darlings* and strengthen the pizzazz within your writing, with attention to:

clarity; word-choice and sentence structure (line edits)

tone, style, and consistency

format and order when applicable

maintaining voice, vision, and concept

comments (via google doc) on the original document

a new draft showing my suggested changes

at least 1 paragraph of notes, highlighting the existing strengths within your piece as well as an overall critique, discussing what to work on as you continue to write, using my edits. If desired, these notes can also explain my reasonings behind certain changes.

(*Note - to "kill your darlings" is to condense wordy sentences and nix flowery detail, for example. In the literal sense, I will never "delete" your work. Using proper editing tools to show you what should be removed, added, etc.)
