As a video editor/post-production producer on your project I can work with the Creative Director or other client rep to edit and produce final editorial deliverable based on script, outline, or creative brief.
I am available to support all stages of post-production as needed such as: creative strategy/direction, research/acquiring assets and facilitating asset approval. Non-linear editing, animating, sound design, 2D animation for bumpers/intro/outro/kinetic text or special effects, coloring, finalization/transcoding, delivery and archival. As an editor with experience as a Director/Producer I can also provide project management through all of the production stages as well as client account management as part of a creative team.
Fixed Rate per project basis is also available.
What's included
Process Deliverables
Rough Cut/Initial Assembly: A preliminary edit of the footage, roughly following the script or shot list. This includes basic editing of scenes, transitions, and the sequence of shots.
Timeline Reviews: A reviewable version for client feedback before any final touches, effects, or sound work are applied.
CGI/Digital Effects/Motion Design: Addition of computer-generated imagery or other digital effects to enhance or alter the footage. Animated text, logos, infographics, or visual elements integrated into the video. Compositing, combining multiple visual elements from different sources (e.g., green screen backgrounds, overlays).
Color Correction & Grading: Ensuring consistent color balance, exposure, contrast, and saturation across all shots. Stylized color treatments to give the video a specific mood or look (e.g., cinematic, vintage, vibrant). Look Creation, crafting a unique visual style or aesthetic to match the video's tone and message.
Sound Design & Audio Mixing: Removing background noise, hums, pops, or distortion from recorded audio. Adding custom sound effects to enhance the atmosphere or impact of specific moments (e.g., footsteps, background noise). Balancing levels for dialogue, music, sound effects, and ambient sounds to ensure clarity and cohesion. Choosing or licensing background music that complements the tone of the video. Recording any narration or voice acting required for the video.
Final Deliverables
Final Cut: The final version of the video after incorporating client feedback, with complete editing of scenes, transitions, pacing, timing, final motion graphics and titles.
Mastering: Final audio balancing and preparation for output to the desired distribution format (e.g., stereo, 5.1 surround sound).
Subtitles & Captions: Adding captions for the hearing impaired or for accessibility purposes. Translated text for international markets or foreign language audiences.
Video Formatting, Output and Distribution: Delivering the final video in various formats (e.g., .mp4, .mov, .avi, .mkv) for different platforms or use cases.Creating different versions of the video, such as 4K, HD (1080p), or SD (720p).Formatting for different platforms (e.g., 16:9 for YouTube, 1:1 for Instagram, 9:16 for TikTok).Short-form edits or teaser clips formatted for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts). Short, promotional versions of the video designed to attract attention or generate buzz.
