15 second animations with hardly any changes could go as quick as 2 days.
Music animations with a lot of movement and last multiple minutes could take a month.
It depends on the length of the animation and how complicated it is.
When estimating we use past experience to figure the amount of time it will take and charge a per hour rate.
So on the super short example it might be only 100-200 dollars.
The month long explainer animation could be several thousand.
