What's included
Proofreading
Clients can expect all edited work to be free of misspelled words, grammar mistakes, and other minor nuisances.
Editing
All work will be examined for tone, style, and structure. I have previous experience with AP, Chicago, and MLA styles. However, I encourage clients to submit their own guidelines or style guides if they have them.
Clients should be aware that my editorial experience comes from a newsroom setting, so all work will also be fact-checked and any jargon promptly removed.
Feedback
Clients are entitled to a bit of feedback and a couple of suggestions if they so wish. However, this must be mentioned before an edited piece is submitted.
