What's your refund?
Time spent / timeline * total amount * 2, OR Stages completed / total stages * 2 * total amount. Examples: I spend 1 week out of 2 on a $1000 project. There will be no refund, since (1/2 * 2 * 1000) is 1000. I spend 1 week out of 3 on a $1000 project. I will be paid (1/3 * 1000 * 2) or around $660. You will get a refund of $330. I'm done with stage 2 (initial prototype) on a $1000 project. There will be no refund since (2/4 * 2 * 1000) is 1000.
