Hey there! Words. Words are your most important tool. Which is where I come in. Because after all, what do consumers, customers and clients want? To be seen, heard, understood. Yours. Well, I tap into those needs, wants, desires. That's what my copy does. What it will do for yours. To get there you can expect stakeholder interviews, filled out creative briefs, audience personas and other strategy work like USPs, tone of voice, plus tag teaming with art directors, graphic designers and web designers, pitching in with project management.
What else can you look for? How about a storyteller and seller and creative partner who crafts compelling narratives that spark imagination, demand exploration and ultimately—boost sales and loyalty. Process

The first thing I'll do—when we start collaborating—is to interview you and your team with my stakeholder questions. These range from the story behind your brand, why you enjoy your work, mission, values and beyond.
Next I'll walk you through my creative brief to get all the details of your project(s): brand voice, customer pain points, features/benefits, what you want potential and existing customers to come away with the moment they see your offering. And more.
After doing a bit more research beyond these two elements, I create an outline and flow for the copy, creating a document that lays everything out strategically before I pen a single word of copy.
The step after that is to write, write and write, never editing myself at this stage. Sometimes headlines come to me, sometimes, calls to action, what have you. I just let it flow. Once I'm at a place where I feel the copy nails it, I step away for hours, or sometimes a day so that I can come back with fresh eyes. From there I edit, edit and edit some more, to get things to the best possible place they can be.
Now we're at the phase where I share the first draft with you. Of note, my project fees/rates include unlimited edits, as I want to create the copy you deserve and imagine.
I can also do brand and copy strategy as well as project management, if you 'd like me to team up with your art director, graphic designer and or web designer.

    You can expect nothing short of convincing emails, in pretty much whichever category you want: welcome, product launch, abandoned cart, event, nurture, switching... . I'll pen awesome, email open inducing subject lines to closing CTAs that get clicked. In fact, for my own cold email outreach via Constant Contact—for 5,000+ sends—I had a 50% open and 8% click rate. Get ready.

  • Brand, Product, Service Naming & Taglines

    As with all of my other services, this one will begin with my creative brief interview to get the whole picture of your project. This will include my asking about your brand voice, customer pain points, key messages and so on. Once I have this info, I'll look for inspiration from a number of sources beyond my noggin: different languages (i.e., Latin and Greek), art, animals, trees, cities, etc., to incorporate into the names. Taglines and URLs are also included.
