Process

The process is pretty easy and straight forward, we work in phases.
Initial Phase (Starting a project):
We start by receiving the full brief from the client with 1 line description for each illustration needed and the scale or size for illustration
Define Simple illustration, Spot illustration, Hero illustration or Something else
Review client Branding guidelines, mood board and provided inspiration
Set a meeting if needed to discuss the ideas and the approach we will take
The Works (illustrating):
Drafting the idea, presenting it to the client and having a meeting to discuss it or exchange emails and guidance
Upon approval of style, color and concept we roll out the designs and send it for review in batches
Review (Working to perfection):
We are keen on delivering perfect illustrations that the client can feel proud having them. It is not all about the money, we take pride in what we do. In this phase we go through reviews to fine tune and apply any changes needed by the client until they are satisfied
Delivery:
Once the client approves all design we go through a short phase of cleanup for the files and making sure the designs are easily editable and ready for handoff to the client or the agency
Prepare the Source files in .Ai and the web format .SVG and Raster exports in .PNG and deliver them via secured transfer to the client

FAQs

  • How many revisions do I get?

    For illustrations we include in every project 3 revisions but if the edits are small they dont count as revision. Also we aim at perfection so if the target is to create something perfect you will always find us supporting any change that aims to improve.

  • How fast is your service?

    Usually the first style and drafts are delivered within 2 days from starting and we aim to always finalizing the project way before the deadline.

  • Do you sketch before delivering the first draft?

    This can be done and it is based on the customer request, we usually work immediately on the design to provide a better draft rather than just a sketch but if the client asks for a primary sketch we always do.

  • Do you have full copyright transfer?

    Yes, we do. Once the project is finished it belongs to the client alone and all original source files are removed from our servers. If the client agrees we can share in our portfolio a showcase or case study of the project.

  • Moodboard and Creative Direction

    A clear direction informed by previous research, enabling us to finalize the branding and move forward with crafting the ideal illustration and visual identity in the next phase.

  • Drafts and Sketches

    Preliminary drafts and sketches will be provided before starting the custom illustration to align on the right direction. All sketches are the property of the client.

  • Original Illustration Source File

    Fully editable vector illustration file, the Source files are in Adobe illustrator .ai Format

  • Optimized SVG

    Lightweight and optimized SVG for web and animation use

  • Transparent PNG

    PNG 1x and 2x for using and importing the illustrations as Raster images

  • Full Copyright Transfer

    Full ownership over the created artworks

  • 3 Revisions

    Extra revisions can be discussed at an hourly rate fee
