I have been casually blogging as a hobby since the early 2010s and have done a few odd jobs here and there. As of May 2023, I have been working professionally as a freelancer.

I also have a small blog on WordPress (Heather McReads) that I’ve been writing on a hobby basis since 2018.

I am most interested in topics about arts, culture, entertainment, lifestyle, and human interest. I am also working on skills to improve my fiction writing and screenwriting.  

I started writing for Artist on Cue back in 2021 on a volunteer basis. As of June 2023, I now write for them on a freelance basis. Artist on Cue is a media platform where artists can build up their portfolio and connect with other artists. For this site, I write articles based on being a creative entrepreneur and a professional artist.

Five Entertainment Management is a recruitment agency that specialises in headhunting entertainers and crew members to work on cruise ships. I started working for them on a freelance basis in June 2023. For this site, I write articles about working a cruise ship, as well as any other advice for performance artists.

Heather McReads is my hobby and passion project. I started writing blog posts for this site in 2018. My Instagram handle shares the same name (@heathermcreads). For this site, I write about topics I’m passionate about. Those include reviews and analysis essays on books, movies, series, and PS4 games. I also write blog posts on Old Hollywood and the occasional personal essay. For portfolio purposes, I add every article that I’ve written for Artist on Cue and Five Entertainment Management onto this blog site. Recently, this site has surpassed 500 overall views.
