Sending a book for beta reading is like sending a new product for consumer testing. Beta readers respond to stories as readers, not as editors.

What document formats do you accept?

Do you offer sensitivity reading?
I don't offer sensitivity reading. However, I am from England. I'm happy to give feedback about English characters and settings.
Do you ever read stories about younger characters?
I enjoy strong and confident female characters of any age. I’m not interested in stories about the omegaverse, couples with power imbalances, or anything involving pregnancy and secret babies.

Receive a written report and notes on your manuscript
You’ll receive annotations on your manuscript and a written report. My notes will share my immediate responses. My report will focus on questions about the romance and the world-building. 1.) Which characters did I connect with? 2.) Which scenes made me eager to read more? 3.) Where did the story absorb me? 4.) Where did my attention drift? 5.) Did anything strike me as confusing or unclear? 6.) Did anything make me uncomfortable or disappointed? 7.) Do the characters do or say anything that feels like a poor fit for their time period or world? 8.) Does anything in the story pull me out of the world of the story and into the author’s modern life? 9.) Is there anything in the world-building that contradicts itself or feels unexplained?
