Plinth: Scroll-Animated SaaS Landing Page for Next.js by Fardin Omor AfnanPlinth: Scroll-Animated SaaS Landing Page for Next.js | Contra
Plinth is a landing page for SaaS products that people remember. It's built in Next.js and Tailwind, with scroll animation that tells a story instead of fading cards in.
The page is designed around one idea, a studio set. Every visual is drawn in code from one kit of shapes (arches, discs, cylinders and plants), all lit from the same light. There are no stock photos, no image files, and nothing that looks like a template.
What's on the page
A hero where the camera pushes through an arch window into a 3D-style set, and a product lands on an empty plinth as you scroll
A before/after reveal that rises over a flat phone photo, with a band of light at the edge
A three-step "how it works" section that uses opacity to show which step you're on
A gallery that scrolls sideways as you scroll down, with depth inside every tile
A light study: scroll sets the time of day, the sun crosses the sky, and every shadow is recalculated live
A word-by-word quote reveal, pricing with a monthly/yearly switch, and a closing section where the sun sets into the footer
A footer built as a studio floor, with link groups standing on plinths
A custom cursor: a floating sun with a lagging shadow and a colour ribbon that "lands" on buttons and links
Built properly
Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, Motion (Framer Motion) and Lenis smooth scroll
Statically rendered, with the whole visual system in SVG and CSS
Fully responsive, with dedicated phone layouts rather than shrunk desktop ones
Respects reduced motion: every section has a calm, finished state
Visible keyboard focus, labelled form fields, and proper headings and landmarks
Colours, type and timing defined in one place, so rebranding is quick
What you get
The full source code, organised into small, readable components
A design document explaining the palette, type and motion choices
Placeholder copy written for a real product, ready to swap for yours
Good for SaaS founders, studios and developers who want a launch page that feels designed, not assembled.
