Halfwild · Craft Brewery & Taproom Template by Emilien PotinHalfwild · Craft Brewery & Taproom Template | Contra
Most brewery templates give you a nice hero and a grid of cards, then leave you to invent the part that actually matters: the tap list. Halfwild starts there.
Every beer lives in the CMS with its style, strength, bitterness, format and a date stamp. A single availability field drives the whole site: the colour band on each card, the three filters on the range page, and the section on the home page that shows only what is pouring today. Change one field in the CMS and the site tells a different story, without touching a layout.
The design is neo brutalist sticker: cream ground, hard black borders, offset shadows with no blur, a slanted scrolling band, and a rotating seal. Two Google Fonts, both under the OFL, so nothing needs licensing before you publish.
### What makes it different
- A tap list that is a real data model, not a card grid. Style, ABV, IBU, format, availability, food pairing, and an updated date on every beer.
- Colour that carries meaning. Four accents encode availability, and the strongest treatment goes to the most perishable state. A legend card explains the system to the visitor.
- Three dynamic filters on the range page, all driven by CMS option fields, so they stay correct when the buyer edits their own beers.
- Ten pages of real brewing copy. No lorem ipsum anywhere. Twelve beers, eight events and ten FAQ entries written in actual brewing vocabulary, from mash schedules to dry hop timing.
- A responsibility page built as slots, with a note that says plainly it is not legal advice. Alcohol marketing rules differ at every border, so the template gives you the structure and tells you what to replace.
- Testimonials that will not get you in trouble. They talk about the product and the service, never about what the beer does for your social life, which is the line most alcohol advertising codes draw.
