Party House iOS App UI/UX Case Study

Celebrate every house party with Party House app
Party House is an ideal product for small Events, Parties, Meetings ETC. Party House will help the user to get organized by creating events also keeping track of the event activity. We tried to manage all the information in one place and easy to use.

Design Challenges

Which task is very important to host any small event/party.
Find out a few main problems with feature enhancements.
We saw lots of features for this app but need to find out a few awesome problems. And very important to easily complete this (small event/party) task.

Competitor Analysis

Using this important step of UX design for supplementary information will help to meet the audience's needs. We found about 3/4 of competitive features that are provided by our competitors and we got important information from competitive analysis (Features, Content, Interaction, and goals)

Personas

We tried to select some people for the interview who knew about the event/party arrangement. And we selected some people (25–35) to create this persona. This persona really worked to get pain points for this project.

Solution

From the pain points, we tried to solve the problems and implemented new features with a better experience.

Features

Home page
Category-based events, Recent events, and Previous Events need to be easily navigated.
Create Event
Simple event create form. Anyone can create and complete his job.
Invite Member
The host can invite anyone using the contact number.
All Event list
Previous and recent, events will be presented nicely with all previous information and also with ratings.

Low fidelity wireframes

After completing the research, we created a low-fidelity wireframe with all of the initial features. We tried to implement all the features in an organized manner. And created a full user journey and layout on this wireframe.

UI Design

At the beginning of UI design, we created a design guideline & stylesheet. As far as possible tried to select all familiar elements of this project. Most of the users of this application are young they like fancy design. So with an easy experience, we tried to use modern visual language as much as possible. For visual design especially focused on cool typography, Color, and Hierarchy. Showing some screens of this project.

Conclusion

The research and consequent assumptions are based on my personal experience and a small amount of data.
Deep analysis and additional testing need to be conducted in order to refine and validate the solution.
Thank you for reading! Hope everyone enjoyed this case study. Have any feedback, I’d like to hear from you.
