What We Hold Dear

Shadabi Zarafshan

Shadabi Zarafshan

In forests deep, where secrets lie,
The ancient trees reach for the sky.
Their leaves whisper stories of old,
Of tales untold, of legends bold.

Yet now, the threat looms ever near,
As humans seek what they hold dear.
The chainsaws roar, the flames consume,
Our precious woods face certain doom.

But we must stand, protect this land,
For nature's beauty, we'll take a stand.
With every breath, with every tear,
Let's safeguard what we hold dear.

I wrote a poem on what humans hold dear for a client.
