I worked with High Five GmbH, the parent company of a top German-language online portal, which helps prospective students find their ideal degree program in German-speaking regions.

One of the challenges for me was the language barrier, but that did not last for long once we understood the entire flow of the previous website.

My next challenge was understanding how German users interacted with the study website.

The main task was finding out what websites currently existed, what made those websites not only stand out but also convert users, and lastly finding ways to communicate Studiumfinden's new bright & bold website branding.

Working closely with the team, I was responsible for: 1. Web App Design & Development in NordCraft(Toodle): Through NordCraft, a No-Code tool, migrating ~ static web pages and product pages from Figma with a pixel-perfect, responsive, and SEO-optimised setup. 2. Custom Components: Developed custom components and code overrides, including the interactive/adaptive hero search bar that, on submit, sends user input directly to the XANO backend. 3. Integrating XANO: Connected with the existing XANO backend and also made updates to fit the existing architecture. 4. Image Optimisation: Created an image optimisation component that allows Nordcraft to process images faster.
