The Challenge

This is a design concept for a startup distillery. I applied many of the same principles behind my experience with the craft beer industry: bold, uncluttered visuals that catch a customer’s eye and make them want to pick up a product to find out more.

Impact

I built a cohesive brand identity to position Seaview as a quality producer in the craft spirits industry.

✅ A Premium Look for Premium Customers

I took an elegant approach to bottle design, where products might fetch a premium. Rich, patterns and colors exude elegance.

✅ A Fun, Bright Look for a Lower Price Point

The canned (ready-to-drink) cocktail line incorporates a more lighthearted, colorful design, since the product price point is lower and appeals to a different demographic. I refrained from going with a different typeface for the cocktails, as I wanted them to have a connection to the parent brand.

✅ A Website That Ties It All Together

The website design blends the deep, lounge-like look of a cocktail tasting room with the standard brand colors. The site was mocked up in Figma to ensure real-world usability and accessibility. And, of course, it’s responsive/mobile-friendly.
