In 2022, I had the pleasure of working with independent children's book author, Catherine Ann Russell. This was my first major illustration project.
Using Adobe Illustrator, I illustrated the entire book to match Russell's text, checking in frequently with the author to make sure that the images and design fit her specifications.
In addition to illustrating the book, I designed the book cover with Adobe Photoshop and designed the inner type and layout for the book in Adobe InDesign.
Happily, Picco and Wren Three received a Reader's Favorite Award in 2023, with particular attention paid to the illustration in their review.
