🏆 Overview, roles and responsibilities

As an international graphic designer for Twinkl UK, I was responsible for creating educational materials tailored to the Romanian curriculum, ensuring they were visually appealing and culturally relevant. I collaborated closely with educators and fellow designers, trained new designers, managed multiple design projects, and maintained adherence to Twinkl's quality guidelines. My role involved blending graphic design skills, educational insights, and project management abilities to significantly contribute to Twinkl's mission of providing accessible, high-quality educational resources globally.

🎨 Designing educational materials

Designs 30-70 curriculum-aligned resources monthly.
Ensures visual appeal and quality using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
Daily collaboration with Educators and Designers to ensure practical and effective materials.
Coordinated with company-wide design teams for consistent visual style and feedback incorporation.

👩🏻‍💻 Training new designers

Conducts training sessions for new designers and supports their integration into the company and adherence to Twinkl's guidelines.

🚀 Template creation and management

Collaborates on template creation for new products within the Romanian market.
Ensures all designs adhere to Twinkl's brand guidelines.

🔄 Agile workflow

Works in collaborative sprints with writers and other designers to develop practical and effective materials.
Handles multiple projects at once, iterating based on feedback loops and sprint reviews.
Uses Jira to ensure timely completion of deadlines through blocker recognition, quick communication and backlog prioritization.
