In my role as a Full Stack Developer, I worked on a complex SaaS project designed to manage various user types and functions, including clients, merchants, merchant accounts, RDR alerts(VISA Alerts), Ethoca alerts(Mastercard Alerts), and chargebacks. The objective of this project was to build a robust system capable of managing these diverse user roles efficiently and handling high transaction volumes seamlessly.

The application featured an automated invoicing system, where invoices were generated monthly for each client. This process involved creating PDF invoices and automatically emailing them to clients. This automation not only streamlined the billing process but also ensured accuracy and timely delivery of invoices, improving the client experience. Additionally, the project included a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) component that allowed clients to manage their users within the system, providing them with full control over user permissions and access.

As the Full Stack Developer, I was responsible for designing and implementing both the back-end in Node.js and the front-end in React, Typescript, and Javascript components of the application. I developed features that allowed users to track and dispute chargebacks in real time, which was essential for clients dealing with high transaction volumes. This required building a reliable architecture capable of handling real-time data processing and notifications. To ensure optimal performance, I implemented efficient data handling techniques and optimized the application to reduce load times and improve responsiveness.

Collaboration was a key part of this project. I worked closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data analysts, and customer support teams, to gather requirements and ensure that the application met both technical and business needs. Regular communication with these teams allowed us to align on project goals, prioritize feature development, and make adjustments based on user feedback and business requirements.

Overall, this project enabled me to utilize my skills in full-stack development to build a powerful, user-friendly SaaS solution that effectively met the needs of clients and their end-users. It was a rewarding experience to see how the system streamlined chargeback management, improved client control over their operations, and ultimately added value to their business processes.
